Class/ Canning 101- Pickling

Join Andrea Buono, a founding member of RVA Swappers and the owner of Kinton's Picked and Pickled, for Canning 101: Pickling. This technique class will teach the fundamentals of canning, from preparing foods for canning to using the water bath method. She will teach you how to make a pickle recipe and how to can the mixture so that you can enjoy produce from the coming fall harvest in the cold of winter. Class participants will take away a jar of pickles using the demonstrated recipe. Participants are free to contact Andrea before the class at info@kintonspickedandpickled.com to ask questions they would like her to answer during the demonstration.
